Who Lives With Us Project

Our Green Spaces has been awarded a grant from Monmouthshire and Newport Local Nature Partnership. The objective is to improve the biodiversity of the birds and wildlife who live amongst us. So we plan to achieve this  by involving the community in filming birds nesting. The video obtained will be posted to this web page so that local residents can enjoy a close up view.

Local Birds and Wildlife

The ‘Who Lives With Us’ project aims to capture footage of nesting birds and local wildlife. This is achieved with special nest boxes and motion sensor cameras. We have chosen gardens and green spaces in and around Monmouth so we can record the wildlife that lives amongst us.

In this way we aim to increase awareness of local wildlife and ways people can access nature to encourage involvement in conservation.
