Join ACE Monmouth at Monmouth Library for a morning of free, hands-on activities as part of Green Libraries Week.

Come along to get creative, learn more about sustainability and discover new ways to connect with the natural world around us. There’ll be a range of activities to get involved with throughout the morning, with something for everyone.

Give old clothes a new life

Bring your creativity to our T-shirt printing activity. Using pre-loved T-shirts and water-based dyes, you can transform old clothes into something new rather than letting them go to waste.

Get creative with nature

Use natural materials to make your own nature-inspired arts and crafts. A chance to slow down, get creative and explore some of the materials found in the world around us.

Discover Monmouth’s Nature

Take part in our Nature Connection Workshop and discover some fun ways to explore and engage with nature. Learn how to use your deer ears, owl eyes and fox walk to experience your surroundings in a different way and tune into the sights and sounds of the natural world.

Seeding something special!

Visit our seed table and see if you can identify which trees different seeds have come from. You’ll also have the opportunity to get your own collection of wildflower seeds for pollinators at home.

The morning is part of Green Libraries Week, celebrating the role libraries can play in helping communities learn about sustainability and connect with the environment. There’ll even be Live Music at 11am so there’s really no reason to come and join the fun. All activities are free. You can drop in and take part in the different activities throughout the morning. Meet at 10am in the library foyer.
